Scouting Gear
What to buy...
While adventure might be our goal, safety is always our first priority. Below are the basic items your scout will need. Many items may be purchased second-hand, or with the Scout's popcorn money (funds earned during our annual fundraising campaign).

The Scout Uniform
Shirt
Must include troop numbers, council patch, world crest and ring, and epaulets. Shirts should also include patrol and leadership position patches given at troop meetings.

Belt
A belt must be worn. Leather belts are acceptable. The green scout belt is optional, but suggested.
Scout socks
Optional, but suggested.
Scout hat
The only hat that can be worn with the uniform. Part of outdoor protection against ticks, etc.
